They interact with other CentralPay services and notably allow you to: <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Centralize their payment<\/strong> <strong>history<\/strong> (across all sales channels and payment methods)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Digitize and securely store<\/strong> <strong>their payment methods <\/strong>(cards, SEPA mandates, virtual IBANs)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Easily track<\/strong> <strong>their recurring payments<\/strong> (subscriptions, split payments) or pending settlements (payment requests)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In certain cases, they can also be associated with an e-money account, allowing the customer to receive and use funds within the network of the e-money distributor partner.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A Customer must be identified by either their email address or their phone number. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is also possible to declare other information concerning them, such as their last name, first name, language, personalized reference, default payment method, etc.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Usage<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Creating a Customer is mandatory for performing:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.centralpay.com\/documentation\/documentation\/transaction-par-carte\/transaction-carte-recurrente\/\">Subscriptions or split payments by card<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.centralpay.com\/documentation\/documentation\/transaction-par-carte\/transaction-carte-unitaire\/#paiement-en-1-clic\">1-click card payments<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.centralpay.com\/documentation\/documentation\/transaction-prelevement-sepa\/transaction-sdd\/\">SEPA direct debit payments<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.centralpay.com\/documentation\/documentation\/transaction-par-virement\/iban-virtuels\/\">SEPA transfer payments with a dedicated Virtual IBAN<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creating an anonymous e-money account<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Interfaces<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can view all Customers on your account from your         <span class=\"direction_steps\">\r\n            <span class=\"direction_step\"> Merchant Portal <\/span><span class=\"direction_step\"> Account <\/span><span class=\"direction_step\"> Customers <\/span>        <\/span>\r\n         <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your Customers also have access to a <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.centralpay.com\/documentation\/informations-generales\/portail-client\/\">customer portal<\/a> allowing them to manage payments made to your company:<\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button is-style-fill\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-small-font-size has-custom-font-size wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/test-backoffice.centralpay.net\/admin\/customer\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><code>Recette<\/code>  Merchant Portal &#8211; Customers<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button is-style-fill\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-small-font-size has-custom-font-size wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/backoffice.centralpay.net\/admin\/customer\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><code>Production<\/code>  Merchant Portal &#8211; Customers<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Creating a Customer<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are two methods for creating a Customer:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Create a Customer <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.centralpay.com\/documentation\/developpeurs\/customer\/\">via the dedicated API service<\/a>, which then allows you to create a Card, manage a Virtual IBAN for this Customer, initiate a transaction, a payment request, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Create a Customer <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.centralpay.com\/documentation\/developpeurs\/payment-request\/\">via a payment request<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CentralPay ensures Customer uniqueness: if you initiate a payment request with Customer creation while their email or phone number is already known in your account, CentralPay will not create a new Customer and will associate the transaction with the existing profile.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Customer profiles (Customer) unify and secure all your customer data for easier management.
