They allow you to segment the operations of your CentralPay accounts for the following purposes: <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Technical<\/strong>: You can configure different settings per point of sale (customer notifications, internal notifications, sender name for confirmation emails, logo displayed on the payment page, etc.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Administrative<\/strong>: You can restrict viewing or editing rights for your user profiles to specific points of sale<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Accounting<\/strong>: You can filter operations by point of sale in your Merchant Portal or in your data exports<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When your CentralPay Merchant profile is created, a first point of sale is automatically created. You can then access your Merchant Portal to configure it or create new ones: <\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button is-style-fill\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-small-font-size has-custom-font-size wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/test-backoffice.centralpay.net\/admin\/point_of_sale\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><code>Recette<\/code> Merchant Portal &#8211; Points of Sale<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button is-style-fill\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-small-font-size has-custom-font-size wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/backoffice.centralpay.net\/admin\/point_of_sale\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><code>Production<\/code> Merchant Portal &#8211; Points of Sale<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Settings<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Points of sale include a number of mandatory settings:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>General Settings<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Name: Point of sale name (visible to your customers)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Site URL:<strong> <\/strong>If this is an e-commerce site, enter its URL. Otherwise, enter the URL of your corporate website. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Point of sale country<br \/><br \/><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Configuration<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Technical type:<strong> <\/strong>Select &#8220;Remote sale&#8221;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>API users:<strong> <\/strong>Select the API users with access rights to this point of sale<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contracts:<strong> <\/strong>Select the card VAD contract that has been configured for your merchant profile (generally, you will only have one contract available)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Default contract:<strong> <\/strong>Select the card VAD contract that will be used by default (generally, you will only have one contract available)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Priority Viban:<strong> <\/strong>If you want the Virtual IBANs displayed in payment requests to be those of the Customers, then select &#8220;Customer.&#8221; If you prefer to display Virtual IBANs dedicated to each payment request, then select &#8220;SCT.&#8221; If you need additional information, <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.centralpay.com\/documentation\/documentation\/transaction-par-virement\/iban-virtuels\/\">consult our section on Virtual IBANs<\/a>  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Other settings are not mandatory but are important for your sales process:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>General Settings<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Logo: Upload your company logo or one dedicated to your point of sale. It will appear on the <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.centralpay.com\/documentation\/documentation\/encaisser-integration-smart\/page-de-paiement\/\">payment page<\/a> generated by <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.centralpay.com\/documentation\/documentation\/encaisser-integration-smart\/demande-de-paiement\/\">payment requests<\/a> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Merchant point of sale ID: Enter a custom reference allowing you to identify the point of sale more easily in your information systems<br \/><br \/><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Confirmation Emails<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Check &#8220;Enable payment confirmation email&#8221;: By checking this box, you activate the sending of an email to your customers when they make a card payment. This is a standardized, non-modifiable email containing a payment summary (legal name of your merchant profile, name of your point of sale, payment date, CentralPay transaction identifier, merchant transaction reference, merchant transaction description, payment authorization code, card brand, first 6 and last 4 digits of the card, transaction amount, transaction status). The language and footer of the email can be configured from the         <span class=\"direction_steps\">\r\n            <span class=\"direction_step\">Merchant Portal <\/span><span class=\"direction_step\"> Configuration <\/span><span class=\"direction_step\"> Payment confirmation email<\/span>        <\/span>\r\n          <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sender email: If you have checked the &#8220;Enable payment confirmation email&#8221; box, you can customize the sender address by using one of your email addresses (for example: no-reply@mydomain.com). Please ensure you ask us to provide you with our SPF and DKIM keys so that you can authorize CentralPay to send emails from your domain <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sender name: If you have checked the &#8220;Enable payment confirmation email&#8221; box, you can customize the sender name (for example: MyCompany)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check &#8220;Receive a copy of the payment confirmation&#8221;: By checking this box, you activate the sending of a copy of the email sent to your customers when they make a card payment. This can allow you to be easily notified by email when a customer makes a payment <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recipient email: If you have checked the &#8220;Receive a copy of the payment confirmation&#8221; box, you must enter the email address of the recipient of this copy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Finally, other secondary settings are available:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>OTP<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>OTP email sender email: Email displayed as the sender of One Time Password emails (login to the Merchant Portal Administration area, etc.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>OTP email sender name: Name displayed as the sender of One Time Password emails (login to the Merchant Portal Administration area, etc.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>OTP SMS sender phone number or name: Name or phone number displayed as the sender of One Time Password SMS messages (SEPA mandate validation, etc.)<br \/><br \/><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Communication settings<\/strong>: These settings are applied to emails or SMS messages transmitting the link to the payment form of a payment request (<code>paymentRequest<\/code>).
