Operation<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Payment Initiation Service (PIS)<\/strong> allows your customers to make a bank transfer directly from their online banking environment, without having to manually enter the recipient\u2019s details. This feature is based on the Open Banking protocol and complies with PSD2. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At CentralPay, this service is offered under the name \u201c<strong>Pay by Bank<\/strong>\u201d and is currently available only through the hosted payment form (SmartForm) when using the <strong>PaymentRequest<\/strong> service.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">\u2139\ufe0f This service is available only through the Smart Form (PaymentRequest). It is not yet possible to use this payment method as the sole option; it is always offered in addition to the traditional bank transfer payment service. The payment experience depends on the interfaces provided by the paying customer\u2019s bank.  <\/pre>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Service activation<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Payment initiation is not enabled by default. To use this feature, you must submit a request to the CentralPay support team. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Use via PaymentRequest<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To allow your customers to initiate a transfer directly from the payment form, you must:<\/p>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Create a <strong>PaymentRequest<\/strong> following the usual procedure.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Include the following payment method in the `payment_methods` property:<br\/>\u2022 PIS Standard `\u201cpayment_methods\u201d`: [\u201cSCT_TRANSACTION_PIS\u201d]<br\/>\u2022 PIS IP `\u201cpayment_methods\u201d`: [\u201cSCT_TRANSACTION_PIS_IP\u201d]<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When this payment method is available, the Smart Form will offer the user a choice between:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Standard bank transfer (bank account information displayed for you to copy)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Initiating a payment through one&#8217;s banking system (Pay by Bank)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">\u2139\ufe0f At this stage, it is not possible to require the exclusive use of the payment initiation feature. The form will always display the option to enter standard bank account information. <\/pre>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. User journey<\/h2>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The user selects \u201cPay by Bank\u201d on the form. The user selects \u201cPay by Bank\u201d on the form.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>He selects his bank from the list provided<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>He is redirected to his bank&#8217;s website to confirm the transfer<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once the payment is initiated, the user is redirected to your return page<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. Monitoring and status reports<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once the PaymentRequest has been created, the status of the transfer is available via the API, just as with any other payment:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The payment_method field will be set to SCT_TRANSACTION<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The \u201cstatus\u201d field will indicate the progress of the payment initiation (for example, <em>PENDING, SUCCEEDED, FAILED<\/em>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">\u2139\ufe0f As with traditional transfers, the completion of the payment depends on the customer\u2019s bank actually processing the transfer. The customer can choose between a standard transfer (D+1) and an immediate transfer. <\/pre>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">6. List of available banks by country<\/h2>\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">\u2139\ufe0f In the staging environment, a bank named \u201cTest Connector\u201d is displayed to allow you to test the end-to-end flow.
